Of the many cities we visited in the French Riviera, Saint-Paul de Vance, located to the north between Antibes and Nice is my favorite place. Imagine, a tiny village situated on a hill, this medieval relic has incredible natural scenery. From behind the thick stone wall that surrounded the Saint Paul-as a defense against Italy in the past, we can see the green grove of trees and vineyards in the foothills. Meanwhile, around the village, our eyes will be pampered with a variety of galleries, churches, hotels, cafes to small stalls selling souvenirs or local traditional dishes that still retain the authenticity of the stone buildings in the past.

Although many buildings have been destroyed eaten era, there are few buildings that still survive since the mid-first century, such as the basement and tower machicolation, but the most striking building is the architecture that describes the Rennaissance period from the 16th century until the 18th. Even the hero of France, Napoleon Bonaparte who once lived Antibes, also rewarded with the establishment Musee Napoleonien, which still holds relics of the time he landed in 1815 after escape from Elba.
