Entering the winter in mainland Europe, Nice offers completely different scenery. From the top plane, we-eight journalists from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia were invited to work together as Air France-Le Meridien-Maison de la France to visit French Riviera Cote d’Azur-alias could feel the warmth of bright sunshine and surf combined with rolling beneath him, as if it invites us to soak feet in it.

Sure enough, once set foot out of the airport, Nice warm air with temperatures around 14 degrees Celsius, like a friendly greeting that welcomed us who are used to living in tropical countries. Along the main street Promenade Anglais in December that cut through the heart of Nice, the eye will be pampered with stunning views. On the right, white sandy beaches with clear blue water that stretches along the eye could see. The atmosphere instantly felt relaxed and holidays. Some beautiful women sunbathers sprawled curvy bodied. While the couple next door, deep kiss, as if the world belongs to only two. Truly romantic!

While on the left the road, the landscape is also no less exciting. Along the road is also filled with various shades of art building deco apartment, which on the ground floor filled with cafés, restaurants, shops, boutiques and casino. Our eyes will be lulled with bright colors of tents that is placed in front of the building or terrace-like red, green, yellow, blue and fused with the warmth of the sun.

What makes special Nice apart from a warm temperature all year is two at the same time its natural wealth. In the south we could enjoy the warm sea air. In the north we could see the Alpes d’Azur Mountain peaks covered with mounds of ice. At the height of winter in the months of February, locals or tourists can ski in the mountains. If you get bored and miss the warm sun, we can directly down to the beach, just a T-shirt, or a bikini. Unique, but real.

Besides its natural beauty, Nice is also famous for its beautiful architecture and historic buildings. As the capital of the Cote d’Azur aka French Riviera, Nice offers a variety of architectural art heritage of Greek and Roman occupation period, ranging from the Baroque, Classical, Belle Epoque, Art Deco to contemporary. What I can not miss is the Old City of Nice, which still maintain the beauty of baroque architecture of the century, 17-18, like the Palais Lascaris, who is now a museum of folk art and tradition, the Hall of Justice (Palais de Justice), which was built in 1892 which finished Modified years 2000 and Prefecture Building old, a former palace of Kings Sardinian. Never missed the church buildings, such as The Cathedral (Sainte-Reparate), Church of Saint Rita, especially Chapelle de la Misericorde truly beautiful. As a city known artistic, Nice Old Town is also found in various art galleries and handicraft shops.
